27in Cyclocross tire?

Building an inexpensive SS Cyclocross bike from a 70's Raleigh Super Course. What is the best inexpensive (under $20) cross tire? Thanks.

Under USD$20 is pushing it a bit but try Schwable CX Pro Sport ($19.99 ish) or Club Roost Cross Terra ($19.99). There is not much sub-$20 but you should be able to find a bunch of tyres in the <$25 range.

I ordered Tioga Bloodhounds as they were quite a bit less than the Club Roosts.
