Does anyone know what the differences are between the 1st
and 2nd edition? Are there a lot of updates? Just trying to
figure out if it's worth purchasing the 2nd.

so it's now y2k compliant?

I was in a book store and scanned a copy a week ago. The
first difference I noticed was the cover picture changed and
so did the font. With the font change the charts are easier
to read and typeset better. The example workout sheets have
changed to. I looked in the appendix to see if there were
any new workouts added and I didn't see any new ones.

As far as I could tell, there aren't any substantial changes
in the 2nd edition. But this was just from my cusory scan.
It seems more of a cosmetic update to market the book anew
because of the increasing popularity of multisport. After
all, it is the bible...
