Aero Time Trial Frames

I love the look of this frame:

I'd get it, but I keep hearing bad things about the quality of leader frames. Who else makes similar aero time trial frames, but perhaps a notch up in quality? Something that will last, but not break the bank?
Hi there,

Yeah, Ive heard a lot of mixed reports about Leader frames. Ive just posted a new thread about a company called NEO, they are producing some frames from exsisting moulds and are making both road and TT carbon frames.

Please click on the link below to view the TT frameset:

Its full carbon fibre, integrated seatpost with a two position seat clamp. All cable routing in internal and it comes ready to build with a headset included in the price.
Not bad for £800

My advise would be to go as far as possible with your budget, stretch it when it comes to the frame. After all this will serve you for a long time, then just add the upgrade components when Santa Claus or a birthday comes around.

Good luck
Stephen

I've purchased 3 Leader frames and 2 forks and have no qualms with the quality of their products. Check www.roadbikereview.com and you'll read the good reviews of Leader products and their customer service.

Leader's frames are heavier (a pound or less) than the higher end stuff out there, but this is to be expected considering the frame will only cost you a 1/3 as much as the higher end stuff. For time trials/triathlons the heavier weight is not a significant penalty. With the money you save on the frame, you can get some fast wheels.

Obviously I've pulled the trigger on Leader products and will again in the future - don't be afraid. Personally, I get a real kick out of beating people on stuff that costs 3-4x what I paid for my bike...
