alleweder HPV vs road bike

Hi my first trip to work in the Alleweder HPV:

5 min slower than the giant speeder lite (not light).
A lot slower than I expected actually, so probably I have to get used
to it and also I have to renew some parts since there seem to be some
rattling parts in the drive train.


The ride is definitely more relaxed

I have a heavy feel in the legs probably due to different position

Several people at work are still on the floor due to laughter.

The kids love to drive in it sitting on my belly!

The Alleweder experience


I did some nescessary maintenance reducing drivetrain friction and
related stuff trying to make it more smooth. The audience interest
factor is still enormous

Well, after one week but not many long rides the speed is still low ,
24,4km.hour!!! This doesnt raise my heartbeat. Max was 135 and average
123/min. My legs definitely put some power on new places, wich is quite
obvious, since its feelable. so far no related speed increasing is
noticed.

So far the battle is won by the dropbar when you dont count changing
clothes .

dropbar: 32 km/hour 150 heartrate 1hour -1hour 5 minutes to
work + changing time
Alleweder: 24,4 km/hour 123 heartrate 1 hour 17 minutes to work

Any faster experiences?
