AN VERY DUMB fork QUESTION...

first of all thanx for the last reply i received here....
i just bought my first road bike: a 2nd hand litespeed catalyst with a sakae litage fx fork. my LBS claimed that this fork is steel, but my searches on the net seem to say that it is aluminium.
who's right???
and is it good 4 the bike?

Why don't you see if a magnet sticks to it? Hint: it won't if it's aluminum. My money is on aluminum.

i tried the magnet trick, but wasn't so sure that it'd stick to a complex steel either.
in any case it doesn't stick....
