Anyone recommend Hunter frames?

Oh my God I really want one now. Argh! The gallery link for

my original idea for my Super 29er was a Hunter frame cause i wanted
brakes but then Steve Howard contacted me and said he would like to
experiment with mounting brakes on one of his CNC MUni's.....

So i dont have any pic's of a Hunter 29 but i almost did 😉

I may have a pic somewhere, but a 29" wheel fits fine in a 26" Hunter
frame. I ran one in mine for a while and it had plenty of room.

Out of interest, why bother getting a wheel built up in the USA out of
parts that are easily available in the UK? If you get Mike Hinson to
build your wheel, you'll get one of the best and most obsessively built
wheels available and you won't have to pay import duty and VAT, which
adds about an extra third to the US prices, and shipping costs from the
US, which have gotta be quite high for something as big as a wheel.
You'll just be paying loads of money to ship things around the world,
but not gaining anything from it.

Is why! Plus it turned out shipping wouldn't be loads less minus the
wheel. Plus I get the frame and custom seat. And this set up has been
tried and tested, which I think is especially important when a brake is
concerned.
