including no doctype ) what do you expect from this bunch of amateurs.
Inline javascript, the same js file included twice, inclide css,
included css...

Aren't the government directives covering things like this?

It was - but I don't think it is any longer. The rule was enforced
patchily, and eventually had to be changed to reflect actual practice.
Much the same thing has happened with .org and .org.uk.

software. Which is true of course. I don't admit that I write software
that drives websites. I used to say so ten years ago - I used to be
proud to. But not any longer... I feel too embarrassed. The whole web
development industry in this country seems to be in the hands of

the marketing and promotion of the Bikeforall.net domain. Getting it
about, promoting it and getting people out riding - the site's aim is
surely this. The domain issue is thorougly overblown here.

No it isn't, and it hasn't been for a very long time. You might think it
should be, but it that doesn't make it so.

..net.uk used to be reserved for ISP's etc and I think that's still the case
but I wouldn't swear to it. The US seems to have given up on having any
distinction between .com, .org and .net other than "what was available and
we could sell".....

No, that would only be a good thing since bitter tech heads seem to
spend a great deal more time analysing things before they try them

An important part of marketing and promoting it is putting it in the
right place so that people can find it. If you put your cookery books
in a section of the library marked 'philology', you can;t be surprised
if no-one buys them.
