Avoid Sigma Sport!

That was my first heart rate monitor, the button interface/sequence is
REALLY counter intuitive. I mean it bites, and I'm a Unix computer
nerd/nuclear engineer that is ok with complicated equipment.

The light on the watch was poor, and the battery died pretty quickly.

I think my next one will be a Polar or maybe Timex.

Anyone have any experiance with Timex?

I really like my Timex HRM. I had a polar before, and would get
interference coming out of the building where I change to run at lunchtime
and it would take about 2 minutes to start receiving again even after moving
away from the building. My Timex doesn't do that, plus it lets you
configure the display in any order (overall time, split time, HR). I have
the model where you can also add on the GPS function, but I just did the
basic HR.
