Just joined this forum. I love it.

I am building up a 2009 Scott Addict SL from the ground up. So far I am running it with a mixed bag of Campy 11 SR, Record and Chorus components.

I am having a hard time deciding on wheels though. From a performance/comfort perspective do I go with a set of Shamals, Easton EC 90sl, or Reynolds 32s.

Thanks,

Bill

I think that I would go with the Shamals. After all, you might as well keep it all Campy. All three wheels are pretty much equal in quality. The Eastons flex a little more in the corners than the Shamals or the Reynolds. A problem with the Reynolds is that the tire has to be removed to true them and they recommend that you only use cork brake pads with them. The only problem that I have heard about with the Shamals is that mounting a tire on them can be extremely difficult.
