Wayne BoatwrightDamn! and I wasn't recording his programs because I thought he'd be on
there forever. He always made me dizzy moving back and forth looking for items to cook
with. That, and I just couldn't stand his showing-off.
Charming to some, I'm sure. But I didn't think 'kicking it up a notch' with
garlic was exactly funny. The bad thing is that I know it will probably not be replaced with something
better.

picking up the Food Network again, but when I look at the guide and see the

I can't say I'll miss him... I find that show grating in the extreme.

Swell, that frees up more broadcast time so they can put in another
blasted Rachel Ray show.Boron

last year. It's probably only going to get worse. And so many other channels are
doing food programming now. Even our local cable news channel just
started doing a new show on Thanksgiving called "Reel Chefs."http://weblogs.cltv.com/news/local/chicago/2007/11/new_restaurant_show_to_launch.html
They've only done a few restaurants so far, but from what I've seen, I
like it more than most of what Food Network has been offering. FN
comes with our basic cable package. If it didn't, there would be no
way I'd pay for it.Lou

lowpitch in one syllable -- I can hardly wait!

Well, lately they have become the "Iron Chef" network, so I'm betting
on something similar. I haven't watched Food Network in over a year. I
read the tv Guide and find soething more interesting to watch. Not
hard to do. -

While the show was, to me, not very good, there's very little doubt
about Emeril's credentials as a chef.Brian
