Jan: Hey Ivan, want to change place?
Ivan: What?!
Jan: Oh c'mon! I practically own that step! I've only been on it 5 times!
Ivan: Well next year, i'm going to be one step higher than you
Jan: haha

:p
I thought it went like this.

Jan: Ivan that is my place on the podium. I have been there 5 times.
Ivan: Well you know what they say, "Second place is the first loser".
Jan: So are you calling me a loser?
Ivan: No I am calling you a 5 time loser.
Lance: Hey both of you losers shut up. Jan there is someone with their nose up your butt.
Jan: Oh dont worry about him that is Ullefan, my #1 fan. He does that sometimes. ;)

Thank you. This should be an interesting thread. I cant wait to hear Flyers interpretation.

i bet it'll be about doping, but it's always so poetic!

LA: No.... you didn't wait for me in 2003.

JU: Yes, I did. This revisionist history on the waiting can drive one to .... chug some Moet & Chandon....

LA: There, there, I know you did. I'll give you "The Hug"..... (And, since you are earning 250K euros a month, you might want to consider drinking Dom Perignon Oenotheque or single-vineyard M&C .... or BEER ... why don't you come to my shindig tonight at the Ritz?)

Umm hello? He didn't stay at the Ritz!

Jan: See, I told you. He only has one.

Ivan: Well, I've got two, and here's proof.

Lance: I'm half nuts. You guys are completely nuts.

Goodbye. He did not stay there, but that doesn't mean he didn't have one of his celebratory events there.

"The final party at the Ritz? Just an intimate gathering of 600 of your closest friends and a handful of celebrities to toast the team and staff on yet another job well done. Special guests included Eki... and Triki Beltran ... Just as the speeches were coming to a close and the dj was about to launch an offensive to get the night going - all this at almost 1am - one more guest arrived, Jan Ullrich. Then, in perhaps a one in a million moment, Lance and Jan shared the stage and both saluted each other for their great battles over the years."

wasn't referring to his celebratory events.

Stage 10...

(see seventh photo)

LA: Who's your boss? Who's The Boss?
Popo: I just got hit by a car, for goodness sake. :p

LA (to himself): This guy's worse than Virenque. Polkda dot helmut. Polka dot pants. Polka dot socks. And what are those neon colors those two guys are wearing -- almost as bad as the Euskatel boys back in 03. Fashion in the peloton has really not take an upswing since Cippolini left. Hmm, better not look at those guys too long, or else I could dissipate the special aspects of "The Look" .... But then speaking of that .... magenta is not the most fashionable color either ... thank goodness I only have to deal with yellow. ;)
