OK, right out the gate I feel constrained to state that I did not circumcise my sons. I might as well explain that I am convinced that circumcision is stupid, cruel, and totally unnecessary.
Please explain to me why you think that depriving a boy of his right to freely choose *adult* circumcision is a good idea. You see, I am not against circumcision altogether. I feel that if an adult male wishes to mutilate his own penis, that he should have the right to do so. After all, it's his body. What bugs me is depriving infant boys of their right to exercise that choice, before they even know what they are missing.

because very very few adult men will choose this...so by not doing it in infancy...very very few ever do it...
"mulilate" hardly describes a well circumcised penis...actually they look a whole lot neater (sorry...am a health care professional..so have seen more than my fair share)
aside from the cleanliness issue..there is also data that shows that partners of uncircumcised males have an increased risk of cervical cancer....
If you are circumcised, you have my sympathy, but please don't inflict the folly on the next generation of boys. Thank you for your prompt attention to this pressing matter.

The foreskin adds pleasure and comfort for the adult male *and* female, during intercourse. When you deprive our sons, our daughters are also deprived.
We're all in this together. It's not a one-sex issue.
