Chaps and Chappesses (can I really say that?),
Field and Trek shops are happy to take the 25% off vouchers
that were in last weekend's Saturday Times. They even gave
me 25% off of the sale price of some gear, despite it saying
in the small print that you can not do this. They wanted to
keep the paper voucher, so I'm not sure if going in with the
discount code would be enough. Worth calling and asking as
the website should just take the voucher code.
I am spending far too much with these guys at the moment,
what with the 20% off offers they keep sending me, not to
mention all the half price tee shirts etc they have had
going for a while.
Can't someone persuade Cotswold to send me some nice money
off vouchers? There is some kit I want from them that I
can't afford right now.
I have managed to reduce my camping weight by around 3.5kg
thanks to this morning's buys. If I am more careful next
time, I have a chance of getting below 20kg on my next trip.
Brecon Beacons, here I come (probably in about 2-3 weekends
time, depending on my on-call schedule). I must finish Paul
Saunders' Metric Mountains of the Brecon Beacons this year.
I think I have about six left, mostly in the far west.
