GARMIN EDGE 830 BATTERY LIFE

I'm curious about whether my 830 battery will last on a long ride where it might be running for 16 hours. I'll be using navigation, a HR monitor (no power or cadence), but I'll dim the screen. My guess is that I should be good for maybe 20 hours . . . I'm wanting to avoid jumping into the new 840, at least for now.

I have left my 830 on for a couple of days and then gone for a 5 hour ride without any problems. I normally keep it on full charge and have been told that couple day tours won't run the battery out. The problems I have had with the 830 is forgetting to push SAVE when turning the timer off.
