    The Glenbrittle campsite is "closed" during March in that there are no wardens on site, no
    facilities etc. I think the OP wanted to know if it was possible to camp there regardless. i.e.
    without use of the facilities. Best bet would probably be to try the local Scottish Tourist
    Information Centre (Portree) or the Macleod estate office at Dunvegan.

    In the normal touristseason wildcamping is not allowed in Glenbrittle so the Dutch guy wants to

    Well, is it?

    It is if you don't mind using the same exposure and focusing for every shot. Just point and shoot.
    If you're doing landscapes on a bright sunny day with 100 film and you've set the exposure to 1/125
    at f16 and the focusing to infinity, most of your shots should turn out fine.

    sense to me.

    Glenbrittle is an area, a valley perhaps? The OP did refer specifically to the campsite, not the
    area as a whole.

    Actually, no it's not. Camping in a campsite is *normal* camping, not wild. Wild camping means
    camping *in the wild*, not in a campsite! So wild camping in a campsite makes no sense!

    If you don't know Glenbrittle, you don't know the Cuillin (hmmm....., could it be some hills in
    Scotland perhaps?) and you have never been in the Highlands. If I would ask you "can I camp in de
    Lage Vuursche" what stupid remark would you make than ?
