I think it's been constructed with the assumption that cyclists aren't
very clever or sophisticated. The web designers are grossly mistaken.

I think they are guilty of much that is wrong with the perception of
cycling in Britain, that bicycles are toys and cyclists too
stupid/broke/young to use 'real' vehicles for their transport.

No cobbles. Tooley Street forms part of the A200, sometimes referred
to as "The Lower Road", though technically Lower Road is just one
short section.

Don't be so cynical. LCC is helping to organise it, and plenty of people
at LCC do cycle.

Yep. Putting the leg along Tooley Street into the spreadsheet gives a
distance of 7 miles 1567 yards, or just under 8 miles.

I was going to make some witty reply re. the Freewheel disappearing up
its own ar******.
But in that case it is disappearing up Her Imperial Majesty, Empress of
India and Queen of the Dominions. Which is another matter entirely.
