Yes, it is *very* good. That's what we use now.

I just got some of that. I totally agree. I am tempted to get more
(as it is a seasonal item at Costco), but I will wait til I get back
to NM. I hope they still have some there....

I love NM style green chile. I adore it. Green chilies+water+salt+
    corn starch.
Yes, a NM native freely gave me the arcane knowledge. That's like
    treason or something, right?

Did you really mean condensed milk, rather than evaporated milk?
Condensed milk *would* glop out, to say nothing about being sickly
    sweet. Dora

I had a boyfriend whose father would use condensed milk (gag, shiver)
    for his cereal.
Makes my teeth itch to think of it.

My grandmother used it in her tea. Even as a small child I hated it. Ugh.

Vietnamese restaurants make single servings of coffee at your table and
it has condensed milk in the bottom of the glass container. It is a
French custom, according to my Vietnamese friends. IMO, their coffee is
    so strong, it needs it.

YIKES. I wake up happy and talkative. Probably die waking YOU up. 😉

Every morning, I wake up in a good mood. Maybe I have a good temper, or
it could be insanity, who knows. When my children were teenagers, I
tried not to chat too much, or my youngest son would look at me through
his eyebrows, with a big frown on is face and say "Cheer down, Mom." I
guess everybody is not a morning person. 🙂

    "Cheer down" LOLOL!!!

Morning is the bestest time of day!!! All of yesterdays worries are wiped
away by dreams and the brain is fresh for new ideas, etc. In my world,
    anyway.

I never was a morning person... It's one reason I think that I am so
    happy working night shifts. ;-)

I do, however, clean and prepare the Coffee Maker in the break room when
I get to work, and turn it on about 20 minutes before the 6 am morning
    crew comes in.

It's deeply appreciated by the coffee drinkers. <G>

I gave up coffee for the most part about 15 years ago on the advice of
the Gastroenterologist. My night shift partner and I drink Iced Earl
    Grays now. ;-d Good stuff!

My intestines and stomach are a lot happier. ;-)
Coffee did NOT agree with them.

It's a rare treat now and I get the really good stuff and keep it in the
freezer, then add hot cocoa mix, heavy cream and a shot of brandy.

    Coffee mocha/latte/booze.

It is thoughtful of you to make coffee for the morning crew, I know they
    appreciate it.

Speaking of coffee, this is my first morning without drinking coffee.
The headaches began, so I took Alleve.

They do. :-) And it wakes them up nicely!

<lol> I can empathize! When I gave coffee up, I gave it up cold turkey
and I'd been drinking at least 1/2 pot per day.

    Headache lasted two weeks...
    Ibuprofen is a good friend!

The Dr. was right tho'. It really is a gut irritant for some people,
even decaff. It's not just the caffeine that can mess with you is what
    he told me.

For instance: I have a "panic attack" if I get down to only one head of
(white skinned) garlic in my kitchen...

So what do *you* always make sure you have in stock?

    KC Masterpiece "original" barbecue sauce
    Huy Fong Sriracha sauce
    Beaver brand hot horseradish sauce
    Ranch dressing
    Johnny's seasoned salt
    Curry powder
    Onions
    And yes... garlic

Actually, mixing the horseradish sauce 50/50 with the sriracha produces
what I call "Shock and Awe sauce". You have to be in the right mood for it.

KCM and Ranch dressing together make a good sandwich sauce. I thought
I'd invented it, but when I went to the KC Masterpiece website I found
that somebody had beat me to it.

    Life is like that, sometimes.
