inner tube for 26x1.4 ritchey tom slick tyre

I ve just bought 26 x1.4 ritchey tom slick tyres for my mountain bike. The inner tubes Im using now are for 26x1.95. On their box it says they will fit 26X1.5 but nothing about 26x1.4. Will these be OK for the new tyres ?

They are OK as long as they are not wrinking.
However, there are tubes made for that range of tire that are lighter and smaller around the tube diameter.

My wife has the same tires on her bike (in fact I think hers are 1" rather than 1.4"). I use 650c X 23-25 road tubes on hers and they work perfectly.
