Hi,

I am heading over to France this year to watch the Tour de France and ride La Marmotte (170km ride over Galibier,Alpe D'Huez one week prior to the Tour climbing Alpe D'Huez with 4000 other people). I am travelling with 4 other Australians 2 of which are already in Europe. We are travelling by van and riding from Geneva-Grenoble(La Marmotte-Ventoux(climb Ventoux-Grenoble watch Tour op Alpe D'Huez). We are rotating driving/cycling. We have 2 spots available as two people have pulled out and we are looking for others to take their spot (to spread cost of petrol/van hire etc). Dates would be 1 July to 14 July 2003. If anyone is interested in joining us and would like further information they can email me at [email protected]

Also if anyone has ridden from Geneva to Grenoble we would appreciate any advice on which route to take. Also has anyone ridden around Lake Geneva and if so what did they think?
