Litespeed Classic w/campy record all around

Hi all,

I am a one who is quite new to biking but I am really interested in beginning the sport. I am looking at a Litespeed w/ all campy record components w/1" steering for around $850. Can anyone tell me if this is a good deal or not. Thanks a lot in advance.

If it's in good nick, that's stupidly cheap - such a bike brand new would be in the $4000 - 5000 range. Just be sure that it's not being sold so cheap because something's wrong with it. I take it this is a second hand bike - how old is it?

Is it the correct size for you?

Do you know what you are getting into with a used bicycle with 8 speed Campy?

If yes to both of those, I think it may well be a great bicycle.
