For example it is certain she has not read one single
low carb book because she doesn't have a clue what
it's about. At least I've read a few low fat books
and books on other non-low-carb dietary systems, yet
I make a point of not claiming any expertese outside
of the low carb dietary realm.

The interesting thing is she's coherent whenever she
avoids the one topic that sets her off. Yet *she*
is the one that brought it up in this part of the
thread. False claims about low carb on a low carb
    support group? What a fool.

  3. And don't forget the mint!

  5. Now of all the outrageous statements i've read in the varios
newsgroups, this has to be at the top of the list.

You are clearly living in your own little world! Must be all those
growth hormones and anti biotics they feed the meat world that you
    consume so much of.

  11. I eat organic vegetables when available. And I wash them well.

I also take supplements. I have whey protein shakes and add ground flax
seed to them. I take a couple of dozen supplements of various types.

I am now making my own nutritious bread.

I work out no less than five days a week, boxercise, floor aerobics,
step aerobics, weight machines, the other two days, walking at least a
    mile uphill.

I eat no meat other than sockeye alaskan salmon until it too becomes
    polluted.

I look about 15 years younger than I actually am. And I am a knockout I
am not embarrassed to say so. My husband has laughed to watch men walk
into gas pumps when I pass by.

I will do doubt live to be about 120 years.

So if I were you, I would listen to me. I am most wise.

    😉

  14. I'm still waiting for some studies to prove the detrimental effects of
meat consumption in the _absence_ of high-sugar, high-starch foods. You
know, the kind of diet people used to eat before bread was invented.
The kind we ate for the majority of our evolution.

  16. Now Dougie, why would you jump to that conclusion? I actually wasted my
money a few years ago on a book, I think it's called the Carb Addict
diet or something similiar to that.

They featured it on Oprah and it piqued my curiosity so I decided to
give it a try as did Oprah and some others. I not only read it but
followed it a few days. But I knew instinctively that it was a bad diet
when they advised to stay away from apples and even a lot of very
healthy and wholesome vegetables. I was astounded at the things they
advised not to eat. It was downright reeeediculous!

Oprah gave it a thumbs down in the end too. Not that I follow her
advice. Now I must admit I have not read Adkins. You hear so much about
it you really don't need to read it.

It's unfortunate you're so terrified of the world that you have to take
all these extreme, and probably untrue, steps to make your demons stay
    at bay.

It's sad to see this sort of middle-school swaggering that really sounds
like a frightened child behaving badly to attract attention as though
*any* attention is a positive thing.

You write like the illiterate you are. Your "medical" pronouncements
border on hilarity between the misinformation and the spelling. You have
nothing worth pursuing, nor are you a good enough troll to continue
    playing with.

You fail as a provocateur. You fail as a purveyor of information. And
you finally fail as a human being. You have no good reason to strut
around this newsgroup, fraudulent prom-queen that you are. No
    constructive reason. No beneficial reason.

You're like that dog licking its balls. Because you can.

Sad little show you put on. Don't you have any good things in your life
    that could take your time?

  19. "joy of a juicy ribeye?" YUK! That is not joy to me that is gross. You
gotta remember, a vegetarian is not turned on by meat or they wouldn't
    be vegetarian now would they?

I'm not living without anything I love. Except maybe a pizza. I think
I could eat it everyday. But I limit myself to one on the weekend. My
reward for a good week's workout.

I'd rather have say 70 good quality years where I'm not limited in any
way physically, than live to 100 with a low quality life in need of
help and being feeble & on meds.

  20. Terrified of life?? If you knew how I lived my life you would know how
    ridiculous that is.

What a load of tripe you just pecked out in a misguided attempt to
insult someone you don't have a clue about!

    Enjoying yourself are you?

Methinks it's Bob (this one) who is deluding himself and attempting
some colorful commentary at which he has failed miserably.

Get a life! I'm loving the hek outa mine!

fraudulent prom queen? LOL. Yeah, that would be fraudulent since I
never was a prom queen. That would be beneath me. What nonsense such
    pageants be!

But I am queen of my castle and queen of my world and you are not
    invited in!

Now say goodbye Bob (this one) And don't address me again unless you
are instructed to do so or my loyal guards may have to take you out and
    flog you!
