mongoose or schwin for starters, wut of disc braks

Hey everybody, i am new to the forum
i am lookin to buy a bicycle and my range is a little under 200 $
i was wondering which brand would u guys prepfer
mongoose or schwin
i am looking for a dual suspension mtb
and i noticed some mongoose bikes with front disc brakes
is that just plain lame on such a low end model
or is it worth checking out.
your opinions will be storngly considered

I just got a mountainsmith MTB that may be a little out of your price range ($1300)


I would go with the schwinn because the mongoose would not have a good brand of disk brake.
