I never spend a lot of money on clothing that I'll be wearing for cycling. Primarily because I don't ride professionally. I just use my bike to get from point A to B and just to enjoy the outdoors. Nor is it necessary to spend much on cycling gear, it's a competitive industry and cheaper alternatives are always available.
