Some news regarding the finding of syringes in a parking lot in a Paris before the Paris-Roubaix race.
It looks like the Team CSC car that a witness saw in the parking lot didn't belong to Team CSC, but to a family of danish cycling fans (a father and his son and daughter in law) who followed the race.
The son knew a guy who produced the official Team CSC stickers, so they decorated their Skoda with CSC stickers, which actually allowed them to sneak into the official race column the last 40 km of the race (the followed behind a Gerolsteiner car and a group of 4 riders, so their probably exist some videofootage to collaborate that).

Besides being a Skoda and having some CSC stickers on the hood and doors, their car don't look like a real Team CSC Skoda, since their car is silver, and Team CSC's cars are black.

Here is a picture of a real Team CSC Skoda:

Here is a picture of the decorated car belonging to the family while it enters a Pavé sector in the Paris-Roubaix race. It is the silver car in the bottom of the picture:

The link is to the newspaper covering the story. The article is in danish.

The point is that they actually parked their CSC decorated car in a underground parking lot in northern Paris in the Porte de Clignancourt area the same saturday as witness saw a Team CSC car in a underground parking lot in the same area.
So it is likely that what the witness saw was the familys "fake" CSC car.
The owner of the car (the father) don't really remember if they actually threw something in the garbage can, so the syringes have nothing to do with them.

Team CSC have denied the whole time even being near the area where the syringes where found.

The primary source is the Danish Newspaper "Fyns Stiftidende" who interviewed the family: http://www.fyens.dk/article/660695

I am off for vacation for a week tomorrow so it is unlikely that I can answer any replys for a while.
