Surely living in Dundee this can't be too hard. A Fife 'toon' is pronounced exactly that way.
To your ears, maybe, but not mine. It comes across more as "toen" would rather than "tuin", if I've remembered my Dutch vowel sounds.

Its a bit like the fun I had learning Norwegian.. the y sound is not like an English y but more like saying ee with your mouth in the position to say oo. Add that to Ø which sounds more like ugh! and it requires mndibular contortions more appropriate to an anteater.

Chris Boardman won the fastest prologue and as far as I know his average speed was higher than Gregs and Johanns. But there is more to cycling than the TdF, really there is. Its rather a silly question because few cycling events are about speed, most are about beating the other racers. Even in time trials, how can one compare a TdF time trial with say the hour record, different events with different challenges.
