Penzey's order, part 1

Ozark Blend?...nice on pork chops/pork steaks

Alepo? a step beyond black pepper but not all that far. (works well in
homemade oil/vinegar dressings)

Celery Seed? everyone needs celery seed

Get the new Smoked Spanish Paprika... wonderul sprinkled on potatoes
and eggs... so good you won't miss the bacon, I promise.

Excellent on chicken too.

Hey! I'm going to Penzey's on my lunch hour tomorrow! Yes, that's right...
I'm *finally* going to check it out. It's right across the street from
where my classes are! Woo hooo! I'm definitely getting more of the
Parisien Bonnes Herbs - excellent in just about everything! Not sure what
else yet.

Suggest you make a list and try to stick to it. You won't of course,

And, yes, true to form, the latest Penzey's catalog arrived in
the mail today, having a catalog really helps to figure out what
you're missing. I just enjoy paying double shipping, that's okay.

The Penzey's Bavairan Blend is wonderful as is the Sunny Paris

If you phone them real quick they may just be able to add more items to
your same order before it's packed and shipped... been there, done
that... and not just with Penseys.

endorsement. That stuff is on my to-buy list, and now I can buy it
with more confidence.

It's quite impossible. Once you start opening jars and smelling the
stuff ... well, it's like foodie crack. We have all kinds of stuff
that we bought because it smells good. No idea what we'll eventually
use those herbs and spices for.
