keep in mind that powdercoated rims are heavier by about 15g. not
much, but pretty far away from zero considering there is no benefit at
all.

take the rims over to ura paint shop or try it yourself. surface prep
is wiping with clean cloth, wiping with new clean cloth, 5-6 times.
outside off course, upwind, wearing gloves. thinner then CHO then
acetone. taking care not to smear old grease on cleaned surfaces by
removing all grease first. (hubs)

try dayglo poster paper strips tapped to ura spokes. very flashy.

visual effect are you pursuing?

I like the color green. I'm going for the effect of liking the color
green.

Even if you like green several shades of green on a nice Ti bike is ugly.

I was babbling before about going to the daytonah 24 du where I was

there's a green/chartruese sports racer, also showed at Watkins. The
green paint job was first overall deep twilight visibilty under the
lights while the yellows were best sunsetting no stadium light effect
with orange a distant turd during twilight.
here, i have on occasion, leaned the bike and walked out into the four
lane to hold or halt or direct traffic for ambulance/rescue/fire.
as the old folk are mostly pertified of the ahhhooogah rack rack rack
ahoooogah and freeze solid having enough to do getting into the merc
and starting it wihtou slaloming thru an intersection to yield.
possible the rational for continuing with red as green ??? whazzit ???

What do you want to spend? If you're up for a small fortune for the
spokes, there are some called "Ti-Dyed" which are multi-colored Ti.

Other than that I can't be sure.

If I could find green spokes to go with green hubs and the already
mentioned green rim, the wheels would look very cool. Even if the
greens aren't quite the same greens the overwhelming green-ness would
make up for it.

Other than that I can't be sure.

If I could find green spokes to go with green hubs and the already
mentioned green rim, the wheels would look very cool. Even if the
greens aren't quite the same greens the overwhelming green-ness would
make up for it.
