I found out this evening that Allan Moorman, an occassional poster to
    rec.arts.tv, has passed away.

    Good Riddance!!!

He was a total [censored]. May he burn forever together with Kris Baker
in that special corner of hell reserved for pompous arrogant net
    [censored] and [censored].

    Burn, baby, burn!

Moorman obviously frightened you with his intelligence and wit. Go back to
your yellow ribbons, waving flags and scaring little children.

Perhaps a confirmation is in order, especially since the OP is an
Anonymous Remailer... our rfc Moorman spelled his name "Alan"...
that's how it appears at rfc's mugshots too.

I've been looking for an obit locally -- I saw something on our public
tv station last night about him - I was pretty shocked. I didn't know
him but from here. (Can't find an obituary notice, either.) God rest
    his sould.

I think it's him, Sheldon. That's the face (a different picture,
though) that flashed on our public tv station last night.

Why was he on tv? I didn't know much about him, just
    from hanging around here.

What a ridiculous thing to say. One should hope YOU have someone
    commemorating your demise, dipshit.

Public as in PBS or public as in over the airwaves (not cable)?

I wonder if they would give you the information if you called the tv
station? Is it Fox? If so, I could ask my niece to call from her
    newsroom.

It seems odd that there is no obituary, however small, on the net yet.

Blurb - you've seen the kind of thing where someone's picture is on the
screen with words about "In memory of. . . . "

My, this guy must really have traumatized you for you to have such
a vitriolic reaction to his passing. Shame really. Kris Baker must
make you [censored] your pants as she's still alive, and presumably well.
