not only mowed, you try string trimming ten acres, that
5lb trimmer begins to feel like you're lugging around a
sack of cement real fast... but I perservered

String trimmers are for garden [censored], real gardeners use
    a scythe

you come over & do the electric fence line with a scythe. i
    wanna watch! 🙂

Been there, done that. Just make sure to use an old-fashioned scythe
with wooden handles, have your fence installed so that the bottom wire
is tied to ground, and (most important) switch off the fence energizer
    while working 8-)

And hey, if you still get caught, it's just extra energy, and law here
doesn't permit me to run the fence at lethal voltages (the government is
allowed to, on the borders, but then they are the government. Not fair,
the border patrols get to collect all the game for BBQ)

Anyway, buy me a ticket (and a scythe, I don't think they'll allow me to
carry one with me on the plane) and we'll see.

do you know just how fast the goats can figure out the
energizer is off? 🙂 not that it's really a problem because
they don't really go much further than the garden, or up to
harrass the dog (some guardian. he's afraid of the goats &
    ignores the chicken eating fox)
i *had* a wooden handled scythe... i think someone borrowed
it. it's not in the shed anyway... 🙁

Tom was doing something nearr the fence last summer, bent
over & touched his forehead to the top wire (during a pulse,
of course). he lost a bit of time there...
we had a short that was electrifying the gate at one point.
    that was loads of fun.

noooo, i don't guess they would... maybe if you dressed in a
long black robe & hid your face... i bet you'd get the plane
to yourself if you got past the screeners though 😉

Well there's no problem, you've got some of nature's most efficient
    grass- and weed-removers right there.

Don't annoy any people that you trust well enough to lend things to for
    a while 🙂.

Wasn't that particular black robe supposed to have built-in
    teleportation powers or something ?

LOL Wasn't impressed with them at first. After explaining a particularly
'complicated' weekend to a friend, he laughed and said no wonder...my
life was weird even for the Discworld.
Shame that the US editions don't have the decent artwork of the UK
    editions.
Psssssssst: you wanna rat onna stick??
