with my husband recently having fractured a bone in his hand, i think
it's safe to say that you can't tell the difference between a break and
a sprain unless you can see a bone poking out, or there's a 'joint'
where there shouldn't be. as the key to some breaks healing properly is
swift treatment, i'm happy to spend an hour at the doctor's to get some
x-rays and know for sure.
