If you flat a tubular in the rain, you're SOL, 'cause you'll never get
your spare to stick.

Then you oughta go for 700c studded tires if they'll fit your frame.
Probably will, if it will also handle 27".

Rim diameter of 700c clinchers is the same as tubulars.

Have a lightly used pair of Nokian Hakkapeliitta (700x35) studded snows I'm
looking to sell. As long as the ice is relatively flat they work great. On
any other type of ice, make sure your health insurance is paid up first.
