My Gary Fisher's bottom bracket cartridge bearing is grinding pretty badly. I pulled it out of the shell, and I gather from the markings (BB-LP27 E, LL-113, 73) that it is a model BB-LP27E (square-tapered spindle fyi) with spindle length 113 mm and fits a 73 mm shell. The front derailleur was indeed secured only by the drive-side BB cup. I assume that means I have to replace the BB with another "E" bottom bracket.

Is that correct? Does anyone know of an available model that could replace it, Shimano or otherwise? (Couldn't find any BB-LP27E on-line.) I want to keep my current (triple) chainrings and square-taper cranks. Also, I'd like to upgrade to something a bit better than the old one, if possible. Any insight is much appreciated!
