Hey folks, first time poster here.
I Bought this lovely little road bike recently, I noticed the rear tyre has a small gash in it, so I showed it to the guy in the local bike shop and he said im more likely to get a puncture, but that it is not dangerous to ride on it. what do you think?

I'm not a newb to bikes, but this is my first road bike, up to now I've always had cheapo "mountain" bikes, and such a little gash in a chunky squishy MTB tyre wouldn't concern me too much. But, the tyres on this thing are razor thin and im not sure what PSI they are at, but id hazard a guess that they are at least double the pressure in my old bikes tyres.
