Please join us for the Tour de Road America on Saturday, August 7, 2004 at 7:00 PM as we bicycle the beautiful Road America circuit in support of the Lance Armstrong Foundation and the millions of people whose lives are affected by cancer.

This exciting event is being held in conjunction with the Grand Prix of Road America featuring the Champ Car World Series in picturesque Elkhart Lake, WI. Join race car drivers Paul Tracy, Mario Dominguez, Ryan Hunter-Reay, Alex Tagliani, Mario Haberfeld, Tommy Kendall, teams, series personnel, (and their families and friends), plus cyclists and motorsports fans for a fun hour on the track. Our goal is to raise $25,000.

Two rider ability levels accommodate serious cyclists as well as recreational riders and families (children 8 and up are welcome to ride with their parents). To help reach our fundraising goal, the suggested minimum donation is $25 for ride participation. Road America has put together a $50 ticket package that includes your $25 donation to the LAF. You also get to watch a great day of racing on the track!. Bring the whole family as kids 12 and under receive free admission to Road America. It’s a great place to visit, and family camping is available on the track grounds. Visit www.roadamerica.com for tickets or www.tour-de-ra.org for Tour info.

There will also be a Lance Armstrong Foundation Peloton Project booth in the Competition Paddock, near the Four Mile Merchant. Please stop by and visit. We’ll be auctioning off great racing memorabilia, and you could even win a ride in the pace car!

See you at Road America! Live Strong : Wear Yellow!

Sincerely,
George F. Siegle
