Am thinking of buying a new 2011 LHT. Anyone have any suggestions as to upgrades that I should consider. I am thinking saddle for sure but more concerned about the drive train components. Any suggestions? Why?

Saddles are very individual, so that's always a candidate for change. I would ride it a while though and see if you need a change. I don't see anything in the components that beg for an upgrade. However, make sure that you are comfortable with bar-end shifters and know that that's what you want. It's traditional to use them for loaded touring bikes, like the LHT. However, many people (myself included) prefer STI-type integrated brake/shift levers. Make sure, because it's an expensive change. You can buy a LHT frame and spec your own components. If you already know this stuff, pardon me. But you haven't given us much to go on regarding your experience or the purpose for this bike.
