  1. Tapering isn't just about slashing volume or intensity. It's about nailing specificity. Zwift’s numbers can’t replicate the chaos of race day. So how do you fine-tune your taper when the virtual world doesn't match the real one? You can't just plug in data and expect it to translate perfectly. What about the adrenaline dump when you hit the start line? How do you prepare for that?

    And let's talk about KPIs. Sure, power and heart rate matter, but what about that gut feeling? When you’re out there, does that number on the screen even mean anything? Are you really ready if you’re just chasing watts?
