When cyclists talk about knee pain, does it usually occur during cycling or after a ride?

When I suffer from it, it's usually during. I think it goes away if I stop. I reduce it by doing
exercises, putting my seat at the right height, and spinning.

But it depends on the cause of the knee pain,
