Just bought a pair of Zipp 909's (tubulars) for triathlons and took them out on their first ride just to test them out before a race this Sunday. I had bought a set of the carbon brake pads (recommended by Zipp) and noticed, right away, that they squeak so loudly that dogs the next town over were howling. I also noticed that the pads were wearing very quickly (I only went five miles). Any suggestions or ideas?
