Does anyone have a suggestion on what should be on one's grocery list for
carbing up leading up to race day??

Much appreciated!

Personal favourite is bagels - particularly good for the last 24 hours
when you want to be snacking not stuffing yourself. Also low in fibre
which is good for race morning if you want to avoid too many stops
during the race...

thanks! Bagels it is..

Cheers!

Much would depend on the distance of your event. Sprint and OLY distance
require no special intake of food. Longer distances do require a good
healthy mix of nutritious food. Little fat, high carb, low protein, No
sugar, No Dairy, Lots of greens stuff, no or little red meat and lots of
water to hydrate and clean the system.
