I have a number of bikes, probably too many. However, I am looking to add another.
I have steel bikes mostly. They are mostly Reynolds 531 or 753.
I have one old Miyata 1000 that is the famous triple splined Ishiwata tubing that was made for Miyata.
Anyway, I have a full Super Record group sitting in boxes in the parts box and want to hang it on a bike. I have been looking around for a steel frame with 1 inch steerer, and downtube shifter bosses and have found one which is made up of round, not oversized ZeroUno tubing.
Anyone have thoughts on ZeroUno? Ride quality, weight, etc. The frame is also fillet brazed rather than lugged - will this have any impact on either ride or longevity?
I'm really not current on the new steel mixes so a bit of a loss here.
How would ZeroUno compare to say- 753 or 853 in terms of weight or ride quality??
Where does ZeroUno fit in the spectrum of steels from Dedacciai - anyone know??
Any help or advice or opinions welcomed.
