Re: Loch Lomond & Ben Nevis

A couple of weeks ago I walked from Inveruglas on the west of Loch
Lomond up Ben Vane, Beinn Chorranach (not a Munro, more a navigation
error in the cloud to be honest) and Beinn Ime. No view whatsever with
low cloud and mist, so I hope you're luckier. That route leaves Beinn
Narnain and the Cobbler for another day, and there's still Ben Vorlich
to do near the starting point. The drive to Inveruglas from the south
of the loch is less than 30 mins.

The south side of Beinn Ime is very boggy which is why it's better
decending, but otherwise the route is fairly easy with almost no
scrambling except for a tiny bit of a climb at the top of Ben Vane to
make the summit (go left round the rocks to find it - no problem at all
making it up). I walked back to Inveruglas down the glen as there's a
nice access road after a short walk through a young forest plantation.
