Oh and like Europe is immune from ugly cars!!!

I'm disappointed Michael. We have a wealth of ugly cars here (mostly French) and you choose the
one that's over 50 years old, is sold to 3 peasants each year in central France and isn't actually
    even a car.

You still have peasants over there?

Like in Search for the Holy Grail? Cool.

Mrs. Carla, having looked at the specs ... 160HP seems pretty low for a haul-toys-around vehicle
... mind my asking what your altitude is, and whether the car is any fun at all to drive?

160hp is all we need. We live at sea level here in NY and the only thing we carry in there is our
ourselves, bikes and gear. The vehicle handles it very well, thank you. No towing of anything. The
vehicle is a blast to drive. Not very aerodynamic, but we didn't buy it for the purpose of driving
at lightening speed. We constantly get odd and strange looks from people...

"160hp is all we need"! Egad! Can one ever have enough power? My car has 230hp, and I'm thinking of
    upgrading it.

  5. Sorry Carla(?) but IMO this car looks really not cool - how come it doesn't have just one
    single color?

It rather looks like you bought some "spare doors" for it (I'm sorry, I don't know the correct word
    for that in English)

It seems to have some offroad potential nevertheless :-)

The Toyota Scion is so ugly it makes both the Aztec and the Element look like beauties...

    Can-Am Girls Kick Ass!

Toyota has been at the head of the pack for ugly lately. The Prius is stupid looking and the rest of
the line doesn't win any prizes either. Chrysler has had some of the best looking reasonably priced
cars for several years now. They still can't sell them though. Go figure.

We can always come up your way anytime, but the next time we're hitting Toronto will be in a few
months. Would you be willing to put us up for the weekend or will we be sleeping in our fugly
    vehicle?

We have room for you and Jimbo. The dog would probably eat Fabrizio Ratsolini, so I suggest you find
a rodent-sitter for him. And you'll have to leave the car on the next block. I won't be seen with
that thing parked in front of my house.

Let the tripping commence! I like these rigs. Roomy, reliable, economical, what's not to love?

And at least IMO, they look great. Maybe I'm the only one who thinks

    so...

    Quoted message said:

I hear that the psycho that designed the Aztek thinks they look great too (but his opinion would
be pretty biased given his history).

You wouldn't say that if you saw that designer's original concept for the Aztek. They had one of his
drawings on the wall of the lobby of the building I used work in and what the designer envisioned
was nowhere near as ugly as what came off the assembly line. If that car would have hit the street
looking the way the designer originally intended, I think GM would have had a hit on it's hands.

The seats fold to the side (or you can remove them) and the bikes fit in there nicely with

Fabritzio is in very bad shape right now, he just completed his regiment of antibiotics and he still
isn't looking so good. I don't think the little old guy will last too long...

Just tell us when you have a free weekend so us hacks can pay you and the Mrs. a visit.

Much better effort, Dart. A truly hideous piece of European automotive design 🙂

We just did the IMBA Subaru discount thing on an Impreza wagon. Nifty little car, and a good deal
with the discount. More than payed for the membership fee, anyway.
