Really? Pakistan was a guess. I'm still curious as to the right
answer. Spelling "you're" as "ur" made me think a young American
with a lot of experience instant messaging friends but no experience
in the real workplace.
I have experience with software newsgroups, where there's a significant
portion of participants from that area. It seems that they tend to get
the idea that text-speak terms are legitimate English abreviations, and
use them at inappropriate times. Some natives do as well, but not to
the same extent.
