I think "Nishat" gave it away.

Really? Pakistan was a guess. I'm still curious as to the right
answer. Spelling "you're" as "ur" made me think a young American
with a lot of experience instant messaging friends but no experience
    in the real workplace.

I have experience with software newsgroups, where there's a significant
portion of participants from that area. It seems that they tend to get
the idea that text-speak terms are legitimate English abreviations, and
use them at inappropriate times. Some natives do as well, but not to
    the same extent.

    OBFood: Popcorn

Now you're speaking my language. What's your absolute fave? Mine is hot
sauce melted in butter and tossed with the popped corn. OTOH, I like it
    almost any old way 😉

I do a lot of the interviewing/hiring at my company. I had this

What's sad is this guy is inquiring about a 100K+/year job. And
it doesn't involve and cooking or skillets.

This is regarding an opening in ur company. I believe this would
be a great opportunity to be working for an esteemed Organization
and I possess the skillets that the position demands.

Have no idea where he's from, but I'll bet he's an Aggie...

HEY! I take exception to that remark!

  5. Now I'm really getting curious. I googled "Nishat" again and found a
musician from Northern India (Nishat Khan).

I found a 27 year old female on myspace named Nishat.

I found Nishat Books specializing in educational books and software in
    the UK.

I found the Nishat Mills textile company in Pakistan. That one's
especially interesting to me since, as a quilter, I know a little more
than the average bear about cotton mills. I'm no expert, and I don't
normally deal with the production of 4 million yards of greige goods,
but I do know what greige goods are. (Jim would accuse me of having 4
million yards of dyed fabric in the sewing room.)

I'm thinking I should google on random syllables more often. This is
fun. (I did NOT find the error ridden resume of a college grad applying
    for a 100K+ job.)

It's almost as sad that you are doing the hiring and you wrote the above
    sentence.

I misspelled "any". So shoot me. I'm not the one applying for a

At least he will be popular at lunch time.

Job applications provide a lot of chuckles, but are a sad commentary on our
education system. My favorite the past couple of weeks is under the
"Education" section. Applicant listed his high school. Under the "Years
    Attended" he wrote. . . 2 Hrs.
That speed reading course sure paid off for him.

The ads came in the mail yesterday. I'll go through them today. I'll be
on the look out for the brats. I have a doctor's appointment at 10am
this morning and I'll run to Sappington Farmer's Market after that to see
what looks good. For some reason I'm in the mood for a really good beef
