I dunno wtf was going on when I trried to edit this post on my phone last night. It doubled up sentences, lost other sentences, and just acted retarded. This is not an example of drunken postage. I added and somehow lost a sentence that dad has ICS Campag super record derailleurs and a choice of super record or c record hubbed wheels. Nuovo record or Chorus aero seatposts. Even has super record pedals if he wants to run toe clips.

Huh, and only just rembered Elvis records. And Sunday movies. Eek.Well, it coulda been worse; you coulda been me! :-) With two sisters, a mum (obviously) and a dad who didn't get home until 8 o'clock every night (and wasn't into music anyway), it was "chick city", with wall-to-wall ABBA, A Chorus Line, the Fame soundtrack, Donna Summer, Manhattan Transfer, etc, etc. And my dad rigged up 6 speakers through the whole house connected to the one record player. About as cool as it got was Fleetwood Mac and a little bit of Mama Cass. :-)
Sure, I eventually got a tiny record player in my room, on which I could play my Status Quo albums, but I reckon the player was about 10w, so it was tough to avoid the Wall of Sound in the main rooms of the house.
I was musically stunted. :-) When I got my first guitar when i was 14 or 15, I don't think i even knew who Led Zepplin or Pink Floyd were. Ha
