I must consider all parametres when I go for my night "coffee drive", and a brief feasibility analysis tells me the following:

My XR6 Turbo chews up about 15.5L/100km around town (even when there are no other cars on the road), which, when I buy BP Ultimate for ~$1.53/L, translates to about $2.40 for every 10km I drive.
The nearest Shell Servo coffee joint is ~3.6km from my joint, but I have a 7-Eleven 1.2km away; another one ~2.2km away, a 3rd one ~2.9km away, and a fourth one approx 3.2km; all of which have the cool Cafina Alpha machines, churning out $1 cappuccinos.
Then there's the question of how many sets of traffic lights I must drive through on my way to each store.

For anyone who thought that getting in the car to get a coffee is easy, think again

Well, it was a [censored] night to get in the car, coz it's pissing down, and I managed to see one smashed vehicle and ane ambulance during my 7.2km return trip.

The Shell Servo on Warrigal Rd., Heatherton provides adequate shelter for motorists exiting their vehicles. I entered the store, and was pleased to noticed that their coffee 'station' was in my direct line of vision, so there was no awkward, "er, where's the coffee machine, mate?" exchange with someone who doesn't speak English. So things started well.
I took a good look at the coffee machine, and the sight of a Swiss flag on the face was a good start, as was the size of the contraption.

Eh,....I've lost interest..... :-)

Cons:
1) it tastes a bit [censored]; kinda watery.
2) Not frothy enough.

I definitely won't be converting.

Pros:
1) Dirt cheap (80c), and what makes it effectively cheaper is that they have a "buy 5, get one free" card/stamp thing going on.
2) They provide plastic spoons for stirring, instead of wooden icy pole sticks.
3) They also provide cardboard trays for multiple purchases.
