Office at work got flooded, roads in town were like rivers apparently. At home there wasn't any sign there had been a storm, it must have completely missed us.

During yesterday's storm I was out in the pissing rain moving pots that weren't meant to get too wet, and I even brought some inside, leaving puddles. 😄

I've also been going to Kmart (Burwood) at about 2am to buy cheap succulents ($5 for the tiny ones) and cheap pots in which I plant stuff at 3am, with a miner's lamp on me head. Now that I'm closer to 50 than 45, is this normal? :p

I even have a propagation tray with succulent leaves that are growing babies.

Got an urgent request for a Cadbury Twirl 'Mint'. These moments are not a discussion.

Shortly thereafter I find myself in a car on a solo mission to safewaystopartwithyourmonays. I masterfully navigate the most efficient path to the lolly eisle, for nothing sharpens the mind like an unfinished episode of Making a Murderer on the netflicka.

It all starts to turn nasty from here. No Twirl 'Mint'. Yes a shelf label. No real thing. Do I still have the tent in the back of the car? Surely I cant go home. Failure wasnt and option and the 'heres a substitute product and a big smile' caper is sheer lunacy.

Two fat chicks in safeway snot green shirts then come down the eisle. Shelf packers! I approach. Yada yada - 'if they aint on the shelf we aint got them yada yada.

As I disappear into the distance in a shroud of disappointment I overhear them:

Go [censored] yourself. Not only didnt you visit me but I cant recall seeing you post one picture of any cool tassy adventures etc. I vaguely recall your last trip to tassy and we got pictures then! I think on that trip you were having a few tears about it being scary and windy at night alone in the forest. That I can relate too.
