2013 40k mile challenge for clydes

5548.69 + 245 (road) + 234 trainer = 6027,69
That includes today's 108 from the Minnesota Iron Man Bike ride. It kicked my butt. I was tired by the 55 mile mark, but continued on. By the 78 mile stop, I was ready to quit; but instead limped along with a tailwind.
The last 15 miles were in the small ring pushing single digit speeds. I was dehydrated and wobbly by the end. EMS observed my recovery after finishing for about 45 minutes. It was kind of nice - they kept bringing me cool drinks, wet towels and things to eat. I guess that's what I get for chasing my smaller ride mates up the hills.
