The League of American Bicyclists released it's 2013 ranking of states according to bike friendliness. I Here are the complete rankings. Frankly I'm surprised Ohio ranked as high as it did.

I'd like to see something included that involves some actual statistics on rider injuries and deaths, particularly when other vehicles are involved. That would be more of a rubber-meets-the-road metric of cycling-friendliness than some of the other categories. (For instance, motorists getting tickets for veering into a bike lane momentarily would be a positive for enforcement, but may result in those drivers becoming more aggressive towards "those pesky cyclists", and the net result is that the cycling-friendliness is lower, despite good enforcement of bike lane laws).

glad to see my home state of oregon ranks '3' they say portland is very bike freindly im moving there for college in a few months.
