BQ Brisbane to Gold Coast Ride

A big thanks to Ben and the gang a BQ for a excellent day today.

It was so well organized from start to finish, and I look forward to the
next one.

I must say it was tough with those swirling winds, but I was proud of my
106k's in 3 hours 50 minutes at average speed of 27.8.
Not bad for a old bugger like me.
What times did you fast guys do it in ?

David, that's a great average over that kind of distance. Congratulations.

I didn't even contemplate doing this ride as the last couple of BQ rides I've attended have been horrendous - scrambling for the first 10km and riding around inexperienced riders is not something I'm much keen on. Also, last time there were some serious t0ssers around. Too many reccies if you ask me. But I'm pleased to hear it went well.
